The End of an Era....

...well, the end of Spring Break, at least. And it's not really the end, I go back to CMU tomorrow afternoon, but obviously classes don't start till monday.
Break's been....relaxing. Didn't get to see anyone after festival except for today when I got to hang out Dina at Brandeis, which was awesome. We hung out for a while and she played Halo (two, actually) for the first time and then we ended up at dinner. She kept apologizing for how bad it was, and even though the schedule was odd (it didn't 'start' till 6:30ish but they were closing it 7ish) it wasnt that bad. The pizza was certainly better than Shatz pizza and there were more interesting salad dressings out than at Shatz.
Regardless of the food quality, it was awesome to hang out with her for an afternoon. We'll have to see if she'll be able to visit CMU at some point. I'm somewhat dubious of it happening this semester since her next break is right during the middle of Carnival season, I think. If I'm wrong and it's the week after carnival, then it might work, but it's also the week before their finals, so it might not be the best week to dedicate a couple days of to being social.

As far as the rest of the break...
I had three job interviews! Wollaston Alloys is certainly the closest to me, but both Bose and Dynamet are really cool even though they're 40ish+ minutes away. Oh well, I'll have to wait and see which of them actually offer me the internship. I'm almost sure Dynamet will get back to me with an offer, Wollaston might and Bose I'm not sure about. They're the only one with a pre-established intern program and I'dve figured that, being a world-recognized company, they would have more than enough applicants, but for all I know people don't apply or the people they get are incompetant. Either that or I'm totally wicked awesome. Dynamet seemed to think so.
I've been watching hours of Law&Order every evening, and it's rocked. I'll miss it back at CMU. However, it'll be good to be back at home. And by home I mean 'Schlag. No bothers around and bunches of cool people. And I'll have my crazy internet connection and I2Hub back. W00t. It also means back to the HW grind. Oh well, CMU is awesome HW or no HW.
