OK, I know earlier today when I was walking to somewhere from somewhere else (I feel like I was walking to WEH from DH, but I'm not sure) I had a nice opening to tonight's update. However, in my fatigue I have forgotten it.
So I got not one but two packages today! I was at the UC and got my regular mail (my Air&Space mag) and then went back to 'schlag and checked e-mail only to discover two package notifications. So I head right back out and pick them up. One's from my mom with some underwear, wind pants, new sandal/shower shoes and a T-shirt they got me while in Disney World. The other was my newest toy. So that made me happy.
Today was very hectic. I did manage to get up in time for Shatzing before calc though, I felt very proud of myself. I woke up and didn't feel the incredible urge to fall back asleep like I usually do. Calc went alright. At the end there was a quiz. I got mine and at first I was terrified because I had no idea what I could possibly do to the integral that was staring back at me from my paper. About a minute later I remembered "Oh, right. Partial fractions" and it was a piece of cake after that. Physics was fun and exciting as usual. I feel like there was some quality Vogel quote that I wrote down today, but I'm too tired to check my binder. Econ went fine. Apparently he's making the next homework assignment even easier by giving us copies of the questions beforehand and then letting us look stuff up and whatnot and then log in and spend 2 hours selecting answers. Geez, mebbe the class average'll be higher than a 11/15 this time.
I had intended to get lotsa work done (Mostly my 21-126 HW) during lunch, but the packages ate up too much of my time. Lunch was tasty. I think I've officially become a "regular" at Skibo for lunch.
Meche was cool...we actually covered testable material! Granted, mostly it was vector decomposition/resultants and whatnot that I've done in Jr physics, AP physics, Trig&Pre-calc (with the 'dish, yes), M&I1 and to some extent MSE last semester. Oh well, at least it was stuff.
Labwork was interesting. I cut scraped up by a couple of specimens I was stamping, but we're all done with cutting/labeling samples! I actually don't have labwork next week because all the samples will be out at the machine shop being milled down. Once we get them back we will heat-treat then send off for final machining. Pretty cool, I must say.
After work I went back to 'schlag for a bit; got a bit of 21-126 done before heading out to dinner. I ended up getting coffee at Skibo and running into some fellow M&Iers and we hung out and talked for a bit before me and Becky headed over to course center. Oddly enough, 15 minutes into it we were the first ones there. A couple others showed up, but for most of it Doug and I were sitting there slogging through problems. I've got 4 and a 1/2 left to do tomorrow in course center.
After course center it was time for Doubleshot Rehearsal. I must say, WOW! I was very impressed with both shows. I thought the character shifts in BIB were particularly impressive. I thought to myself "That just isn't the same person" when I saw Kwasi come in at the beginning of the final scene. Excellent work, everyone, I can't wait till performances!
Right, yea so I got back a bit after 11. I randomly wasted time on the internet, got the rest of my 21-126 HW done and now I'm sitting here, tired, but feeling moderately accomplished.
Perhaps it was all my ranting I did yesterday that let me sleep so restfully.
Oh well, sleepy time.
