So I met up with Christine today (yesterday, actually, since it's 1 am) at Alices (Mandarin Taste) for lunch. I wanted fried rice with my lunch combo and she ordered white rice, but the waiter reversed the orders, realized it himself and brought out extra bowls of fried and white rice for us. However, neither of us really finished the lunch combos we'd ordered, much less an extra bowl of rice. 'Twas mildly amusing. Seeing her was really nice; she's someone I've known for a long while but oddly have become closer since we've gone off to college, taking great advantage of this thing called the 'internet' to 'chat' via 'instant messaging.' Crazy stuff, what will they come up with next?
I wonder if my amazment with a TV ad stemmed from fatigue or because it's actually an interesting product. I also feel the need to aquire one of those new Dremels, the ones that can be a power-planer and a rotary saw, in addition to normal Dremel duty.
So, anyway, I've got a dentist appointment in 12 hours, I picked up a couple cavities while at CMU. Curse you soda machines! ::shakes fist:: I'll just have to drink more water and diet soda or that unsweetened tea they have in some of the pop dispensers. Yet another person (dentist/dental hygenist) has told me I need more sleep, perhaps I should try to get some.
OK, that talk of water and tea and whatnot made me thirsty, so I took a brief beverage break.
So, I'm back, blogging about nothing and chatting with that lovable scizo-nut about how she just wanders around her house late at night. A bit freaky if you ask me.
Well, I'm off to do...stuff. If something manages to excite me between today and tomorrow, assuming I post, perhaps I'll do a quickie letting y'all know about it.
