...well, it hasn't been that lazy and it has been a while before I had a completely relaxed Sunday...whatever.
So I dragged myself out of bed ~8:30 so that my Dad would teach me how to drive a manual transmission. After I put a couple psi into each of the tires we went to the Sr parking lot at SHS where I proceded to drive in circles, stopping, stalling and restarting the car for about an hour or so. Good times. No, really, it was fun getting to drive (it's still a novelty for me) and doubly so learning a manual.
For those of you who heard that our furnace died, it mysteriously resurected itself, but we no longer have any faith in it (not that I ever did, but that's to be expected with the appliances in this house) so someone's coming at 5 to take a look at it. He'll prolly tell us that we need to get a new one. Honestly that's not too big of a concern, the newer one'd we'd get will assuredly be quieter, faster and much more efficient than the current one.
Aside from that, it's been another day as 'Network Administrator' in the house. I defragged, cleaned, compressed etc the two older computers and ran a virus scan that took over 12 hrs (not sure why it took so long) on the newer one downstairs. It did end up clearing out 7 different trojans and a ass-load of adware (a metric ass-load, mind you, an english ass-load is 434.9 times larger, according to Connor, at least). The harddrive on the old one downstairs was like 75% fragmented and for some reason the defragger really doesnt accomplish anything. Upstair's its like 60-70% fragmented too, but hopefully the defragger'll actually accomplish something.
If anything else exciting happens tonight, I'll update. Maybe.
To everyone with exams tomorrow, best of luck! To anyone traveling tomorrow, have a safe trip!
