Aero Glass is not a 3D desktop that changes anything fundamental. This is. Pretty nifty, I must say.
I don't really care how pretty my OS's GUI is, which is basically all Aero Glass has going for it, as far as I can tell. In fact, the uglier the better, assuming that means the OS will eat fewer system resources just by operating. If I can cede more resources to gain access to an actually innovative and possibly much improved (from a usability standpoint, at least), that's fine by me.
