So we were in Geagle and found an 8.66lb pork loin, for the very-low price of $15.33; we decided that we must cook it.
Williamson and I made mushroom-onion-garlic 'filling' for part of it.
We cut the meat in half, and then filled one half with our mushroom filling, sealing it with toothpicks.
The other we rubbed with brown sugar and dumped sage, black pepper and rosemary on it.
And then they barely fit in the oven.
My first portion of the mushroom filled pork. It was excellent.
After about an hour of baking, we added chopped apples, onions and poured honey over the brown-sugared pork.
I ate some of that too. The meat was exquisite and the apples were awesome too!
And then we ate some of the cheesecake that Williamson made last night instead of working on Algorithms. It was chocolate and he made raspberry sauce. It was good.
And then we made coffee and sat around and chatted. We almost felt like real people.
