How to Disable PayPass RFID chip

Stopping people from stealing without lifting your wallet.

Citizens' was kind enough to send me a new ATM/Debit/Mastercard when my old one expired. The new one is a green copy of the one shown on the site, there appears to be a chip embedded in the same location. I've already lined my wallet with Al foil, for what it's worth. I do want to try this "pay pass" out before I take a ball-peen hammer to the chip. I can also call and get a non-RFID enabled card too, but the ball-peen hammer approach doesn't require a phone call.
