I just (well, to be fair my dad just did) spend ~$500 on my textbooks for next semester. That sum also doesn't include the several that were cheaper at the CMU bookstore than we found easily available online.

On the upside, my Dad seemed to think getting textbook listings online and buying them ahead of time was pretty cool; and he'd like to read most of my books for Spies and Assassins when I'm done with them.
