DRM and the tech industry's "girlie men"
Reading about all the new DRM being forced into next-gen HD contect really sickens me. I mean, perhaps I'm wrong, but does this mean my new HDTV at home will never be able to make full use of a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player because it isn't HDCP-enabled? I'll never be able to watch a legitimately acquired HD movie on my laptop? This just seems like it'll breed a whole new black market of cracked HD movies and "black box" HD-decoders, all the while screwing over virtually everyone.
