OK, to all upper-classmen MechE's:
When I point out that "I have no time" when asked to participate in certain ASME-sponsered events, if you want to let me know I'll "be screwed next year" please let me get a word in edgewise to point out that in addition to the "standard" soph schedule I am carrying a 12-unit MSE course as well as participating in SnS and SAE and trying to hang out with friends one or two evenings in a week - outside of doing homework.
Seriously, just don't be jerks. Thank you to those who helped point out some of those things when I wasn't able to say anything.
