was a damn good Star Trek episode. But aside from that, my summer is now over. I am entering that limbo betwixt "summer" and "school." Classes haven't started yet, but I'm no longer relaxing at home (or working, for that matter).
Today I finished packing up my life, basically, and loaded it into the back of the car. I only needed two big duffels this time around, mostly cuz I realized I actually do laundry and don't need to have 2+ weeks of clothes with me. Hopefully that decision won't bite me in the butt.
I also realized that during the first mini period I'll be much more heavily worked that I thought. I was under the impression (a false one) that my two MatSci courses (27-201 and 27-202) were first and second mini, respectively. That is not the case. They are, in fact, both first-mini (assuming they're still minis, that I am not entirely positive of now, either). Anyway, no biggie. I'm most excited about those classes anyways. My job this summer was all MSE and it should be really awesome to learn the basic science behind all the end results I dealt with this summer.
This summer was a lot of fun. I really treasured my free time since I had a 8-3 job every day with a hour(ish) commute each way. I do want to thank everyone who made my summer great, even if I only saw you once.
That being said, I can hardly wait to get back to CMU. I've honestly had enough of my bothers for a good long while and I also prefer waking up at 9ish for class at 9 or 10 as opposed to waking up at 6ish so I could drive for an hour and then get to work. Not fun at all.
Anywho...I'm blanking on anything else to write. I'll prolly post Friday once I move in, if nothing else to say I've successfully made it back to the 'burgh.
