Damn straight it is!
Batman was great.
Quote that started off the night:
"...I was up to fucking 5am, fucking high school students..."

[Note to self, insert story of tonight's activities at a more auspicious hour]
Story of the night's activities follows:
So Dina and I had talked about seeing Batman Begins on saturday for a while. We'd be going to a 10:40 showing to get in after Shabbat. Ben couldn't come and so we ended up deciding to go on sunday. My family and I headed out 11ish on sunday to catch a really cool exhibit at the MFA for Fathers day. We went home after that and then headed out shortly after 4 to drive up to Framingham to meet my aunt, uncle and cousins at a BBQ restaurant for dinner. On the way Ben calls me and lets me know that he and Dina (among others) are going to see Batman at...7 (I think) at the Jordans Furniture in Natick. Conveniently, Natick is right next to Framingham so I could make it to the movie in time. Or so I thought.
Following dinner there was some slight confusion regarding whether the theatre was in Natick or Framingham or if there were two Jordans. There is only one and it sorta straddles the line between Natick and Framingham. Anyhow, my parents drop me off about 6:45ish in front of the Jordans and I call Ben and Dina (coming in different cars, Dina with Zack and Ben with his dad and Nate) and they aren't there yet, obviously. I go over to the entrance to the IMAX and it turns out they're all sold out. Big surprise, really. So I call people and we meet up. Apparently there's another theatre down Rt 9 at a place called "Flutie Pass." It turns out these're the theatres I know about, right next to the Natick Mall (go past the Ben and Jerry's, make a left then a right). I got into Ben's car and Dina and Zack followed. Ben made a bad call and we realized we were going the wrong way on Rt 9. Oh well, we turned around and got there eventually. We forgot to let Zack know right away that we'd turned around, so it took them a bit longer to make it to Flutie Pass. We went in and guess what? A single ticket left for the movie. Hrm, there's what? Seven of us? That doesn't work so much. I called 411 and asked about local theatres. The first one she said was "somethignsomething at Flutie pass" I said "other than that one" and she connected me to the ticket office! We decided to just 'screw it' and headed to randolph. We get there about 8:30, I think it was and the next movie was at 10:40. Lucky us. By that point we said "no way in hell we aren't seeing this movie!" We got tickets and then went to hang out at the McDonalds down the street.
At least it was good; I would've been really pissed that I stayed out until past midnight, with having to get up at 6am for work, if it had been a crappy movie.
There was other stuff that has happened in this past week that I remember thinking at the time that I could write a good blog entry about, but now, sunday evening at almost 10pm, I honestly can't remember what I was going to write about. Oh well, your loss, I guess.

Batman was like totally classic, but Scarecrow was a little disappointing. I can't believe he met his end by tazer.
