Yea, so today I managed to grab both brunch at Shatz and dinner at the U with various of the heros, coolness. Fun times always ensue. For example, Alejo commented that it would be better for the maimed Matt #1 if eating his french toast were more like playing UT2004. IE Matt would 'win' after a certain time limit elapsed. There was also discussion of the newly-discovered sport of O-boarding. This consists of taking trays from the O (preferably coated in fry-juice) and using it to slide down the Donner Ditch.
So, anyway. I woke up and finally rolled out of bed noonish and headed out to brunch at shatz 1ish, I think. After that I sorta just hung around, talked to various people online, played a bit of WoW and worked on my 21126 homework. One of the problems on it requires me to use excel to solve equations. Unfortunately, my prof accidentally typed a '+' in one of the equations when I'm sure he meant a '-' as otherwise it has a non-real answer, which Excel does not happen to like. I figured I'd try to have excel solve it anyway. It spazzed out. In the output cell it started spewing a whole crapload of different numbers, finally settling upon something x10^27 along with a note suggesting that the equation may not have a solution. But I got it done in the end, that's nice.
One down, three more assignments to do. Granted, I have all of this week and next weekend for the MechE work, which includes a 250 word essay on "Codes and Standards"
Speaking of MechE, Howie put up this hilarious article about "You may be an engineer..." on Blackboard (I have republished it on my webspace for your viewing pleasure.) I think I may indeed be an engineer. Goody.
Following the work on my 21126 HW I played WoW for several hours and then blogged. Which brings me to this exact moment. Or rather this moment. Or now. Whenever, you get the idea. I think I'll watch a Scrubs episode or two then turn in.
