The calm before the storm.

That's right, classes start tomorrow. Luckily my schedule is really all settled out. There is one class that I'm on the waitlist for, but the prof e-mailed everyone and told them to come anyway on tues, so we shall see; hopefully there'll be room for me no problem.

I've had a busy past coupla days; what with the packing and the traveling and seeing friends for the last time till...the summer? Who knows. My dad wants to go to DC for spring break. I'd love to go, if the bothers didn't come along too. Well, whatever, that's a ways off.

So, I'm back at CMU, and glad to be. The aforementioned bothers are hundreads of miles away, I've got a rockin' internet connection and I now live around/near/with a bunch of good friends...oh, and the classes should be pretty cool too.

This vacation was fine, overall. I spent too much time at home with myself...and the bothers. I didn't see the Ashcroft gang enough at all, hung out a bit with various segments of the AZN brotherhood and didn't see any of my SHSTC comrades. Oh, well, no big surprise.

Today, after much delay, I went with a portion of 1A to Squirrel Hill (not Shadyside) and spent far too much money. We got food at Panera (the new chicken caeser sandwich, like everthing there, is quite good) then hit up Geagle where I got triscuits, bagel chips and laundry detergent. Then we hit up Rite-Aid for school supplies and shoelaces.

I sat around, perused the internet and played Rome:Total War for a while before heading off to dinner at a deserted Underground. I got back and played WoW for ~1 hr and then checked various things online, talked to several crazy persons (one who apparently rules the western world, better not piss her off). Now I sit and blog for your amusement.

PS I win
